Versal Review
By way of Fictionaut and Luna Park, I found this review of Versal, an Amsterdam-based journal Pilot carries with pride.

Big Pelt Talkie Sunday
First in a series, this Su-su-su-sunday at 6.

Robert Mittenthal + Rebar Niemi
[or our empty animal running on air – articulate skinning or tossing shit? (bad)weather? (critical talking, poetry reading, to distinguish distinctions, a decrease in ‘a multifarious barf we’re always happy about’) ….
BP is a series of talkies – a reading/an essay – to give attempt to sensibility. To articulate positions. An unsettled grounding. Not mere villiage explainers, but adventures in process. Making conversations push forwards. Practicies wagered. Criticising (nothing into something?).
Robert Mittenthal is author of Value Unmapped (Nomados), Martyr Economy, Ready Terms (Tsunami Editions), and the forthcoming Wax World (Chax). Irrational Dude, a chapbook of collaborative work with Nico Vassilakis, was recently published by tir aux pigeons (http://tir-aux-pigeons.blogspot.com/). He lives in Seattle where he has been a curator of the Subtext Reading Series. A new blog is at http://rmutts.blogspot.com
Rebar Niemi is a general layabout and linguistic miscreant living in Seattle, Wa. He is unpublished. His band, !Pizza Party¡, has never completed a performance together. These creative dead ends seem important. His past activities include high school debate, various types of manual and non-manual labor, and drinking hella birs. Currently he is most fascinated by the power of discernment, the concept of shame, and not breaking his favored pairs of glasses repeatedly.
